The MISSION of the FVBMP,

through fundraising and public relation events, is to provide the Virginia Beach Mounted Police with the horses and additional resources the Unit needs to build and strengthen community partnerships, deter criminal activity through high visibility engagement at the oceanfront, and to be the top mounted police unit on the East Coast.
